We just had to include this entry, because few have made such a shocking transformation for a role as Charlize Theron in the powerful 2003 drama Monster. And the contacts played a huge part in this.
Sure, Charlize also had to gain weight and spend hours in costume and makeup before shooting. But her stunning, real piercing blue eyes would just not have worked as she played the serial killer and prostitute Aileen Wuornos, so the brown contacts were the cherry on top of an already amazingly done transformation.
